A nice warm shower to help clear your head,a bowl of hot chicken broth, and then lots and lots of rest. I hope you feel better. |

i've always used the old standards of chicken soup and hot tea with honey and lemon. As for the sore throat i've always gargled with warm salt water and it helps but i might try the vinegar trick next time |

Awww, that sounds really nice. I'm at work right now, but maybe I'll attempt to do that when I get home. That's hard to do with two little ones to take care of when I get off of work though *sigh* I wish I had a mommy or someone to take care of me |

Thank you guys, very good suggestions. Dreamer Poet-Really, you should try it next time. I was kinda skeptical when my friend's mom first told me, but was desperate because I had already missed alot of days off of work, I could barely talk and it worked! Almost right away. It's kinda nasty tasting at first, but you get used to it and it's REALLY worth it. |

Maybe it's the FLUE. My 81 year old dad came down with it and it took him a month and a half to recover. But you have youth on your side. Good luck. |

, I hope not Gorm, what are the symptoms of the flu again? My office practically PRESSURED us to get shots and I procrastinated because I HATE shots, but by the time I finally caved in to the pressure I couldn't get a place that hadn't run out of the vaccine....I hope I get better soon. |

Hope you get better soon too, Emi. Aw, at least I only have a few more minutes to go and then I can leave. Thank you all for your suggestions and for lending an ear to my whining, that's probably what I needed the most and it helped.... Now if you'll excuse me, I want my mommy! Take care everyone and don't forget to bundle up if you're somewhere where it's cold out right now. Thanks again, g'night |

Some time back some ol' friends of mine told me about a few remedies. So far the things mentioned are good advice, and along with that I use Echinacia as well as Grapefruit Seed Extract with Vitamin C. These can be found at any nutrition store and so far they have worked well for me. Hope this helps. |
