I gotta' have a copy! kronk---A copy of what? "L.D."---Hekler's book! kronk---Really? What's it about? "L.D."---What? kronk---The book, dog! "L.D."---I think it's about horses, donkeys, and "Hey Larry." The forward was by "Morphix." I can hardly wait to check it out. Give me $2.37! kronk---That's mighty cheap for a book, these days. "L.D."---The book is thirty-seven cents. I need the two dollars for a bag of circus peanuts. |

Date: 10/11/2024 2:57:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 55251 Hey Larry, great question! Unfortunately, Hekler is not taking questions as he has sworn a "vow of silence" ... or did he say he was "pleading the fifth"? |

Wow! Is that really "Hekler?" kronk---"That's the rumor." "L.D."---I thought that he'd be thinner. |
Date: 10/12/2024 2:34:00 AM From Authorid: 5940 ..^^^^ Yes indeed, Hekler is reading an abridged version of "The Count Of Monte Cristo." Too bad it's the Swahili version, he doesn't know Swahili...... |

...I feel sorta bad for having abandoned all of these top quality posts for I guess it's been a couple of weeks now? I lose track of things these days really easily and I have also been going through a phase. Phases actually and my mood ring has been changing colour almost hourly. I would like to lay the blame for all of this for on an unholy relic I had received by mail but I had only taken possession of it (or it of me?), last week unless of course, it was one of those especially evil medallions that projected their malice forward in time to land on the shoulders of the final recipient. All of that and the news coming out, by the minute it seems, of some deplorable clown running for elected office. You may have noticed that I did not name any particular clown as the list would be too long and I might miss a dozen or two along the way and, if nothing else, I do like to offer as much dependable information in this as I do in all of my other postings. It's depressing to see all of the norms that I'm accustomed to be thrown out the window and replaced with trash with people attempting to convince me that the trash is beautiful and desirable. Now that I got you to read all of that, I would like to commend you on the accurate depiction of me in a pensive moment. I can't help but believe that, in some way or another, Hey Larry is responsible for this mess and I'll retaliate with slightly less than honest reviews of the jokes he posts. Now you know. |

...I remember that photo on the cover too. Hey Larry posted that way back in 1999 when he first arrived here and my original assessment of him was on the money. A mule that had somehow commandeered an old TRS-80. |
