Trying to stay true to one's faith is tough especially during days of extreme difficulty and immense stress that seem to come out of nowhere and anywhere.
I have always believed in the importance of having something to help me during the even if that something was a simple cup of joe, a restful night sleep or just the occasional piece of fruit during the middle of the day.
But I never would have thought something as simple as a necklace could or would change the course of any direction, I might have been going suddenly to something else.
It happened to show up in one of my and my mom's weekly Flea Market browsing. Every Saturday our neighborhood gets together and starts selling a bunch of wares, everything from Honey, homemade jams and jellies, the occasional piece of furniture and plenty more out on a local store's parking lot.
Not really big on jewelry but something every once and awhile would catch or has caught my sight. Most of the time it would be a certain color or even a really out place piece you just don't see every day.
This time it came in a form as something simple as a cross but what really drew me in were the colors. Yes, I admit after year of seeing the combination I had grown sick of but gradually Purple and Gold had come back just at the right time to make me feel a little more secure.
At the simple price and affordable it was I couldn't help but get it mostly because and old one of mine which I know think was cursed had broken and every time I had worn it something bad would happen and the fact that I had graduated wearing that one only made it more depressing cause right after is where the major depression, and lots of other things started to spiral downhill for me and it seemed so quickly as well.
Granted I know this isn't really fiction or exactly the way everything happened when I bought it, but I felt this was the best place for me to post if something or anything since I seem to be more comfortable here than other places on this site.
My honest graciousness for those who have clicked and chose to read my post and what might come in the future.
