I think the point IS that it's only in that persons mind and can't be proven. That's faith. Do I believe in a diety? No, but that's my personal truth. But I agree with the premise of this post.  |

I believe in YOUR right to believe and have faith in what you choose. Very simply, when you lose your right to faith or religion, the world becomes a scarey place for all. My own beliefs will also be questioned and perhaps not to another's liking. Freedom and choice to believe whatever one feels, there is no greater reality. Or freedom.  |

well if it's real in your mind then it's real. The power of the mind is amazing and although Thinker brings up a good point it can't be physically proven, however if it is real in your mind then it's as real as it's gonna get. The mind is a very very powerful tool like you said if you think you are sick you will manifest it. Same with positive thinking. There have been numerous case studies of people thinking positive thoughts to heal their bodies and it works. Not saying everyone can do this, you have to have a lot of discipline to keep your mind focused which I don't. haha! so with that said, I guess my point is reality is what you make it and if you believe in a god/dess then it's real for you. OK enough of my rambling my fingers are cold and it's hard to type. HAHA peace!  |
