Lincoln's Funeral Train

  Author:  62066  Category:(Hauntings) Created:(5/23/2003 4:26:00 PM)

The United States of America's president Abraham Licoln's funeral train is said to replay its travel to Washington every aniversary of the president's death. It is said that a black train rumbles across railway tracks at night, the lights of the carriages aglow. Some say that you can see a phantom brass band in one carriage, playing a mournful tune, with no flesh on their corpses and whitened bones.

Date: 5/23/2003 7:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    Hey thanks......good post! I was just reading about this in Richard Crowe's Book Haunted Chicagoland......Lincon hd a LOT of phenomina associated with him. He had a prophetic dream about his own death. He had seances in the White House for his lost son. The reason Gen. Grant was not with the President was because Mrs. Grant had a "premonition" so strong, they did not go to Ford's Theater the night Lincon was shot....pretty cool, huh?
