The Afterlife Beckons- Part 6

Jeff awakened to find Solomon standing over him. He made breakfast appear and set it down on a table. They both ate, then got ready for training. Solomon transported both of them to a room. In that room, there was nothing except a door to exit the room. Solomon began by saying, "I'm very old, and I have found someone else to take my place. Her name is Lily, and she is gifted. I have to go soon, so before I do, I must train you to destroy the creatures in The Above." Jeff asked, "After I defeat them, then what happens?" "I have already sent in a temporary figure of you. Your family will think its you; it will feel like you aren't there, but that figure will do everything for you. After you're done, Lily will transport you to your home, and the figure will be sent back here. However, since you are The Chosen One, you might, in the future, be called again if something comes up. If you are not strong enough if that time comes, you will go through training again, but this time it will be advanced. Now, let's start our training." "What do I do," asked Jeff. Solomon replied, "First of all, you must have good defense. For the next couple of hours, you heard me right when I said "hours" because we have very little time, I will be attacking you." "Why?" asked Jeff. "We are in "The Resistance Room." I will punch, kick, slap, throw, etc. You will feel the full force of my attacks. But, as I attack you, you will become resistant to it. To make this clearer, your defense will get stronger each time you are attacked by 1/100 of that attack. For example, say I punch you once and that hurts. I will punch you 99 more times. After that, whenever I punch you with the same kind of power, you will feel nothing!" Jeff, in astonishment, said, "That sounds simple enough. Alright, I'm ready! Hit me with your best shots." Solomon replied, "Let's get started then."
