Only 226 days, one hour and three minutes til graduation. And it's not that I'm unpopular or unenvolved or anything. Out of a class of about 430, I know about 400, and I get along with everyone! And I'm currently the captian of the girls diving team. But I am ready to move on with my life, I am ready for college, I don't know why, I'm an only child and was always way too mature for my age, maybe this has something to do with it. I also believe that part of it is I just don't feel safe at school anymore, I live in colorado, and I don't go to columbine, but since then we have had threat after threat, and the last one which was about a year ago, almost didn't get caught, it was estimated 450 students would have been killed. So I have spent the past 12 years in school five days a week nine months out of the year, and now my goal is to walk and get my diploma in may, and close this chapter in my book, and start a new fresh one in august, I can't wait. I know this may seem unreal or something, but ask any High School Senior and I'm sure they would tell you about the same thing.  |
