i admit when I first got here i didn't do this. LOL I do it all the time now. although there are some cases *not many* where I'll only drop a few replies in here and there....rather than replying to EVERYONE...ya know...like if I do a prayer post *on the rare occasion that I do* for someone I just thank several people at once on behalf of the person the post is for...then I let them come back and thank them all individually when they are better....Just an example LOL   |

I agree! Although I admit I uh, haven't started doing this until just recently. I don't even post stories all that often, anyway. But one thing that really bugs me is when I reply to a story and I see that the author has replied to all the other replies, yet after I reply, they completely ignore mine! They just go on and reply to the replies after mine! I can't count how many times i've felt like my reply wasn't important or I've felt ignored because the author replied to everyone else's replies but totally skipped over mine. I mean, just a thank you would be nice, ya know? Just to know i'm not wasting my time replying to their story. Also, for the newer people that wonder why it seems the "popular" people around here get more replies: when you reply to the replies, it brings the reply count up, as well as people will more than likely reply when they see that the author is replying to the replies. Ok, now, ya know, "reply" looks like some foreign word to me now that i've typed it so many times lol |
