Not long after Simon thought about Carina, a guard kicked at his cell bars. "You've got a visitor" He yelled. "A visitor? Maybe it's Dawn!" Simon thought, looking away from the open window and looking into the darkness of the prison hall, he saw the old lady he saved before. Her smile brightened Simon's heart to see that she was okay after the incident. "I told you that I would thank you for saving me and I am here to do just that" She said. "How?, I'm locked up in a cell to be executed at dawn" Simon mumbled. "I am going to get you out of this dirty little hole and clear your name" She whispered. Before Simon could utter a word, he was outside of his own cabin. "H-how did you do that?!" Simon blurted. Smiling, she introduced herself "I am a witch, my friend. My name is Josalind. And I just erased everyone memory of the so called assault. You are a free man now, my dear.". "Magic?....... then you could help me f......" Before Simon could finish his sentence Josalind had disappeared. In the air, Simon heard a voice "If you need any more help be sure to look for me up the river.".

Disgruntled that he could not finish talking, Simon took one glance at the old cabin, he remembered "My horse!!!!". he ran to the stable and saw that it was empty. The latch on the door was not broken and neither was the stable. It was open though. Thinking now, he found himself to be a victim of theft. Sighing, the brown haired boy stumbled his way to the cabin and to bed.
