Frailty.....Dark Crow

Have you ever witnessed something so horrific, so disturbing, that it left you speechless? That is how I feel after watching the movie "Frailty". I would love to tell you all about the movie, but unfortunately, my mind is rather shaken, and has gone into "protection" mode; it does not want me to recall the events I just viewed.

Let's just say, it is one of, if not THE, most disturbing film I have ever seen.

My interpretation is: there's a man and his 2 sons. The man has a vision, a message from God *via an angel*, telling him that the world will soon end, and that there are demons that he and his sons have been "chosen" to destroy. The younger son buys it, but the older one doesn't. So, good old dad, goes out with the "list of demons" he was given by God, and one by one brings these people to his house, and kills them in front of his two sons. The older son thinks Dad is crazy. Dad has a message from God that his oldest son is a demon, and that is the reason why he doesn't believe in all this. Dad tells the older son that he must kill one of the demons himself in order to prove he isn't a demon. After refusing, Dad makes him dig a hole in the backyard, which becomes a cellar, and locks the boy in the cellar for weeks. The boy tells him that he finally had a vision from God, that he understands, so Dad lets him out, and they call upon the next demon, only to have the boy kill his dad instead. Dad's dying wish is for the younger son to kill the older one, since he's a demon.

I'd love to tell you what son dies, but I honestly don't know. One of them went to the CIA, claiming to be one brother, but later on says that he is the other one; maybe it was all the trauma my brain endured, that refused to compute what exactly happened. It would be a movie you'd have to see twice to know what happened, although I couldn't stomach it the first time through.

All in all, this movie is the works of some sick twisted person, it scares me to think that people have these kind of thoughts...if you fancy emotional scarring, then I recommend it. Otherwise, go to church instead.
