Do Old Songs Sometimes Get To You?

Hi Everyone!!

Ok, well I was sitting here earlier with my stereo on and a song from many years ago came on. I had not heard it in years...well, it brought the tears and a few reflective moments as I recalled my association with that particular song. I find this happens often if I hear one that was truly special from days gone by and had strong meaning to me. I know I am not the only one that this happens to...For me there are several that can really bring the tears as I remember the night they played in my past, or if I recall a special day ..how about you guys?? Do some songs do you that way as well? Thanks for letting me share a moment of wondering if I am stranger than I thought :-)

*Hugs* Breezey

Date: 2/11/2001 8:00:00 AM  From Authorid: 18201    absolutely! There are some songs that I cannot listen now without breaking down because of the memories they bring back. Some songs remind me of my friends in highschool, some remind me of family members, there are a few that remind me of a very dear friend that died when I was younger. I'd be here all day if I were to list all of the songs that touch my heart. Music is a very powerful medium!
