Good afternoon USM Angels!
I hope that all are doing very well…….
Just an update—— doing well, here——— enjoying this gorgeous Summer weather—-even though we are in somewhat of a drought, I’m Grateful for the warm sunny days——enjoying my flowers, my fur babies, spending time with my Mama, & making improvements, at my home, changes as I can, one day at a time.. I realise a lot of people find the hot humid weather difficult, & are wishing for Autumn’s arrival. It will be soon enough! ( haha!) Some of the stores are already stocking Halloween/Autumn decor & School will be back in session once again & August but a few days away….
I’m hoping to attend a few events starting the weekend——an old elementary school reunion, a vintage/classic car show early august & a few other events coming up soon… also some Fall Festivals & Bluegrass Gospel venues.. A couple music concerts from past entertainers—-in a more personable setting…I had never thought about it before now, but I just don’t think the huge Concerts are my thing——I thought about attending a Country music concert with Alan Jackson on tour, when he came to Lexington, Kentucky last year….his last I believe
But couldn’t get passed how huge, the crowds were—-how noisy those concerts are, I decided not to go., even as a teenager, I didn’t really enjoy attending—-had they been held outdoors, it may have been different.. As I’m sure, fans are aware; due to health reasons, Alan Jackson is retiring from touring, though I’m sure he will continue writing, singing but without a doubt., in a more low key setting… which to me., is so much more enjoyable……..I saw Gordon Lightfoot in concert a few years ago, something I had been wanting to do for quite some time & when the opportunity came, we went—— -I have been a fan for many years, when he walked out onto the stage an older man, his voice still golden——-I closed my eyes remembering—-& the memories were sweet….

Halloween is Right around the corner.. .

Sounds like you've got a plan, sister. The last big concert that I went to was "The Rolling Stones." The music was so loud, I thought I was having a heart attack. Besides that, I forgot where I parked my ride and had to sit on the steps and wait until 75,000 concert goers left, to locate my car. Take care of you, lady. Write on.... 
njoy the rest of the summer, You take Care as well——-I’m missed seeing You both here and Facebook dear Zema!!——-I do love my flowers, they’re my “Happy Place” I just hope we don’t have a fought cold winter….we’ve lacked rain this summer, some of the leaves on the trees are changing too early——Fall will be early this year I think——-hoping to get back into some writing——I say that but then something always seems to come up & once again, I put it off——-but with fingers crossed, I’m hoping soon
