Personally I believe that what happens here on earth isn't really as important as we think it is. The important part is who be become when things happen. Every decision we make defines the kind of person we are. When good or bad things happen, we have the opertunity to get involved. What we do or not do at those times is what defines us. What is most important is who we are when all is said and done in our own lives. The choices we make along the way shape us and those around us. -Rad. |

I could write a long essay on this, in fact I have before but in short God needs to be needed and we need God, but if we lived in a perfect world where nothing bad happened and everything went accordingly God would be un-needed and cease to exist. This is why we were given free will o do as we please and why evil was aloud to roam the Earth. Some blame Adam and Eve for the introduction of evil but in reality God knew what happen when he told them to leave the tree alone. I hope this helps some ![]() |

How do we really know God allows it ?How can we think that we are even near a level of what God knows? What happens here on earth is most important..Defining who we are when said and done defines whomever we send forward..This allow those spirits we touch to ever evolve what is good.. ![]() |

Many have turned away from God, This world and its system of things is controlled by the devil, and one of the greatest things that the devil has done is to make people think that he does not exist, no devil no consequence...da? but remember if you turn away from God, God will turn away from you, and it is not easy to walk the straight and narrow. wolfie ![]() |

In my humble opinion: "God allows us to be. Most everything else, is controlled by us." Interesting question, Extreme Queen. Write on..... ![]() |

The entire universe is Gods and under his control, but not everything is according to his perfect will, this is why we were asked to pray that his will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. Nothing happens that God is not aware of, or ultimately is not in control of (he has set the boundaries.) Yet he allows evil to continue even though it is not his will. Some suffering is allowed by God as training or used as chastisement or it can be a judgment. God usually allows such suffering with a view toward restoration and formation of character. For unbelievers it is used to bring them to know him. For believers it is for our growth and to bring us closer to him. Jesus said, In the World ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the World - John 16:33 Take a look at the suffering of Jesus and the disciples of the 1st century church... The believers suffered for their testimony, everyday they faced death, beatings, many wondered homeless, hungry and cold. ![]() |

For your first question: I do not claim to know much of anything when it comes to this world. There is still so much we have to learn and I think that is partly the answer. I think a lot about this question and if you think back to Genesis, we were cast out of the Garden of Eden and into this world. I believe this world is veiled and sometimes what I call a battleground. That means there is room for both light and darkness here. I believe that is why a lot of bad things happen in this world, that have no reason. I also believe there is light in this world, through faith and love. I think we must grow from all our experiences, learn to understand, learn to forgive, learn enduring love, and also that we are all part of something, something beautiful and creating and strong. I think we are all mixed in, there is influences of light and darkness, and I do not believe anything is ever done to harm us or personally wrong us. I also believe, when something truly bad happens to us, God incorporates it into his plan, it becomes part of the plan, and soon blessings and positive energy will flow from it if you just hold on. For example, finding the blessing or lesson or beauty in something bad. We learn and grow from it. I think our main purpose on Earth is to find our way back into the light. The darkness has no hold on us. God promises to bring us all home. God promises to be a strength in times of trouble. God promises to forgive and love us everlasting. No matter what happens in this life, we need to remember we are never alone. We are being of light. And we will endure. As for your friends, it hurts when people disappoint us. We have all been there. But we are beings of free-will and choices. We cannot blame God for bad things that happen as a result of peoples choices. The best thing to do is find strength and know there is something better for you. That you are given everything you need to overcome these trying times. We need to learn to love people, forgive people, and respect people. Our hardest mission will be these things, will be conquering ourselves and our ego and emotions. Pray for them and tell them that blessings will come from pain. Hope that helped. God Bless. ![]() |

On your last question, which no one seemed to touch on: Godly sorrow is a sorrow that is still 'connected' to God, thus being repentable (if that's a word). Worldly sorrow is a sorrow that has no connection to God, thus is a separation from Him. As when Jesus died, he was 'separated' from God and 'died'. Clear as mud? ![]() |
