For me, this one is easy, God created chickens when he created the animals of the earth. There can be no egg without a chicken. So yeah, the chicken comes first lol![]() ![]() |

The egg came first, as it was laid by an evolutionary descendent of the chicken. All chickens come from eggs, but not the first chicken egg did not come from a chicken. ![]() |

This age-old question really has a simple answer. Attempts to answer it, however, and attempts to get around implications of the simple answer are often quite convoluted. According to the Creator of chickens, and the author of the Record of their origins, chickens came first. It was on the Fifth Day of Creation Week that He created "every winged fowl after [their] kind" (Genesis 1 ![]() ![]() |

Date: 1/29/2012 7:34:00 AM From Authorid: 65734 Well for me chicken came first.. because if the egg is first. so who will lay the egg so that it can be a chicken..without chicken there's no egg.. just like us Adam and Eve created not a baby because no one can care the baby.. so the baby cant live... |

If you believe in evolution they came very close to the same time as "whatever the chicken evolved from" got closer and closer to being a full fledged chicken, the egg also got closer and closer to being a chicken egg. Since the full fledged chicken would have to come from a chicken egg though...the egg came first. I agree with DP...AK...that hurt., LOL![]() |
