Well.... let's see, when I was in school, the seat belts never were used firstly, and secondly people would swing them at people in the isles! lol |

For part of my GCSE Psychology couse work, I completed a report about seatbelts on buses. I found that it was mostly men who agreed this but the women didn't. The reason was because the women in question were chaperoning at least two young children while carrying their shopping bags and if their youngest child was a baby, they'd be having to handle folding strollers too! For them, having a seatbelt on the bus was just another hassle for them to cope with when they have enough already while their husbands swan off to work in their only car! Hope this helps. |

If the bus got into an accident, can you imagine how long it would take for everyone to get their seatbelts off...thats a lot of kids and if the bus was letrs say worst comes to worst going to ignite in flames, some kids would still be one the bus say, if their seat belt was stuck. Its just a safety precaution .. that is WHY they do not have seatbelts on a bus. |

there are seatbelts in long distance busses but as for city busses it might be a time issue and the fact that city busses people often stand if all seats are taken |
