You are stranded on this beach for weeks. One day, you gaze out into the ocean, and you imagine a glass bottle coming toward you with a cat trapped inside. You panic, and wonder "How can I get the cat out?" There's a cork in the bottle, but it is UNREMOVABLE. You CAN'T break the glass, or else you'll kill the cat.
