I am being stalked by an old childhood friend.

I am a single divorcee, liveing alone with my two young children,I had gotten a Job closer to my home 2 years ago during the last year of my 4 year long divorce battle with my ex. My mom was dianosed with Cancer and was dieing. I was going though a really bad time and became reaquainted with an old childhood neighbor since he frequented my place of employment.He dropped by my home unexpectly one day and we talked about old times and how I still keep in touch with his brother who is in the air force. He told me his problems about a bad heart and how he should have died years ago. He was hospitalized for 6 months and he could at anytime die of heart failure.Then he became like a leech since I listened to him and felt bad for him.I should have caught on the moment he said he liked me and that I am straight foward and blunt.That he has no friends just his wife.He started to call me all the time and then just drop by, I told him that it wasn't right and I really need him to stop dropping over, calling me that he was too needy and if he needed friendship to get it from his wife because I couldn't be the (friend)he needed or was looking for, I had my own problems I was working through.He stayed away until My Mom who meant the world to me passed away, then he showed up again to show his condolences. He grabbed and hugged me, and wouldn't let go! It was the the most unconfortable feeling I have ever had,It wasn't the hug from a friend It was harrassment and I broke away finely and was horrified he used my Mom's death as an excuse to touch me. I told him to leave me alone and he did for a bit.So I thought. Until one evening about 9pm I was watching TV with my 8 yr old son, him on the floor,I was on the sofa. When we heard a noise, my son jumped up and pointed at the window and there he was watching us!Through my window! I told him to leave i wouldn't open my door! And was tring not to frighten my son, any more than he already was.I called my brother who was a cop and he more or less blew it off . I was angry felt so unsafe in my own home.I had told everyone and my co workers knew and have heard me to bluntly Tell him many times To get a life and stay away from me.Here I was afraid of haveing the guy arrested and being the cause of a heartattack, or something...Then I realize Hey so what! Look what this jerk has put me through! I do not deserve it and He should be taught a lesson! I came up with a plan,I called every male friend even my Ex and told them what was going on and asked them to help me out... Each one were more than happy to help me and one at a time for a week went to his job and told him that they didn't like what he was doing and to stay away from me and my home and Job, because if he didn't he would be arrested on the spot!Finely my brother the cop was the last to arrive at his job to tell him the same thing... Aparently he didn't like being harrassed on his job hummilated in front of co workers and promised never ever to come near us again! So far I feel like I have my life back once again,Until the next freak comes along.
