SPIRITUAL ATTACKS AND DEFEATING SATAN --- PAM

I have been very burdened here lately about the spiritual attacks I see in people's lives here lately, especially in Christians lives. We are subtley being led down the path to total DEFEAT in our lives. SO MANY people these days are under SUCH spiritual attack and have NO IDEA... They just believe things are going bad in their lives. They are suicidal, depressed, discouraged, and just can't even function... It seems like almost everyone is like this. Maybe it's my imagination but I have noticed a HUGE increase in this even amoung Christians who have the power and wisdom to overcome these kinds of attacks.

I would like to do a series of stages we go through when being under spiritual attack... I posted one last night but most people had already gone to bed. Let me just take a minute and list the steps we go through...

First I want to post the steps or stages, how they work in our lives. Then I want to post how to overcome these stages satan has led us into and how to get out of that stage.

I want to say something that sounds dramatic but I feel is very important to Christians today. We all MUST learn to know God better, that is a given BUT WE ALSO MUST LEARN TO RECOGNIZE SATAN IN OUR LIVES AND HOW HE WORKS!!! If you aren't looking out for the enemy, they will get you every time...

Here are the stages:

1. Discouragement 2. Confusion 3. Depression 4. Loss of vision 5. Disorientation 6. Withdrawal 7. Despair 8. Defeat

This process can happen quickly, as it did with Elijah, but it usually works more slowly, which makes it even more difficult to discern. However, if we know the enemy's shemes we will not continue to be subject to them. When these symtoms begin to make inroads into our lives, we must resist the enemy until he flees. If we do not resist him, we will be the ones fleeing, just like Elijah...
