Pam, I think you hit the nail on the head. The enemy is always looking for a way in to cause us heartache. But being filled with "joy unspeakable" and "resisting the devil" is the key to overcoming. As far as counterfeit spirituality is concerned, people should read the Word of God for themselves and allow Him to show them His revelations in His time as too much knowledge "puffed up" and also can make you sick as in eating too much "honeycomb". AMEN!!! There seems to be SO MANY people discouraged in this world right now... Have you noticed this??? Even Christians seem to be down and depressed all the time... This has REALLY been on my heart and mind here lately. I think I'm going to do a number of post from this book about who the REAL culprit is behind all this and how to fight it, and WIN...  |

Very true, when Satan starts to heap trouble upon you it's usually because your doing what God wants. If your not following christ, Satan don't need to do anything because then your doing what He(Satan) wants any way.  |

Amen! When we Christians come under spiritual attack, we need to realize our place in Christ Jesus and rebuke the devil. Tell him to leave in the name of Jesus...and he must do it. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places. The devil sometimes launches an all out attack against a Christian, especially one that he feels is a threat to his work in some way. So, take heart when this happens. You have authority over the power of the enemy. God's word says it. You just have to realize it and act on it!  |

Thanks Pam for this post. Yes, I do see Christians depressed and suffering from the same societal ills as the rest of the "heathen" society. I still maintain that this is due to idolatry, whether worshipping Jesus or Baal. We are to worship GOD, only. I just pray that God reveals some more information to our nation, soon. Free Girl |
