I fully support this suggestion, and it's not the first time it's been brought up. This site has grown so much since I started here that people are getting careless towards other's feelings. If people were forced to identify themselves before speaking, they would be more hesitant to say insulting things. Plus, the admins can stop anyone who repeatedly caused trouble, they have was of blocking/killing accounts.  |

i think that would be a great idea because sometimes people are hesitant about posting thing and when the do they dont want insults they want nice replies i know that if i were to post my stories which i do id want to have kind replies not nasty insults . nobodysfool |

true...we have discussed among all of us numerous times and for some reason it hasn't been changed. or at least not to my knowledge, BUT we do have the power to delete msg's if they aren't in the debate column, and if they are then we really should have the right to delete the comments rude or not. it is just showing the person's ignorance, and we shouldn't get mad we should pity them....love, lollipop  |

The people who are leaving comments that are not logged in "can" be deleted. We can use that feature to delete any comments that we want to. What type of responsibility are we taking by leaving a name and author id#? I leave many comments in a day and no one has come knocking on my door yet. Author id's or not, people should be able to comment. Also, as for limiting people to one account, my husband and I are both members here and we share the same email address. Does that mean one of us would have to leave because only one account per person/email address? I can't say that I agree with you  |

I think that when people who are not logged on leave a comment they are more honest than the average person would be logged on. I would rather get a really honest comment from a person who is not logged on, than the average person with a displayed author id telling me "good job" or "nice post" when they might really be thinking, "This really sucked, but I'll be nice!" |
