YES,my dad...I also wasn't notified of the funeral because I had just moved back into town,no one knew this yet.I was told 10 days AFTER he died!I tried his home phone on his birthday to wish him a happy birthday...I got a (no longer in service)recording.HE DIED ON HIS BIRTHDAY...I will NEVER cope with this irony!Blonde Cherokee ![]() |

I know it affected my wife when her father passed and we weren't living anywhere near him. She was molested by him when she was young and just before he died, he asked to speak to her. Well, no one told us this so it didn't happen. We can only surmise that he wanted to apologize for the molesting. We don't know. She still cries when she visits his grave and I give her a lot of credit for even going there. If he'd done that to me I certainly would not be cordial. ![]() |
