On 25th August 1977, at 10 am, an unidentified man entered a petrol station in St Louis, Missouri and asked the assistant for five dollars in change. He then walked to the drinking fountain and swallowed the money in handfuls, washing it down with gulps of water. After thanking the assistant, he left! An Arizona man decided to demonstrate his courage to some friends by kissing a rattlesnake that had come across in the wild. Unsurprisingly he was bitten and in an effort to remove the venom, an unconventional method was adopted. The man attached his tongue to the car battery (!?!?) The city of Concord, New Hampshire decided to raise money by selling guns that had been confiscated from criminals. The money was then used to buy bullet oproof vests for the local police!
