I'm familiar with this "area" as well. It is often refered to as the Devil's Triangle or the Bermuda Triangle and exists within the borders of Bermuda; Miami, Florida, and the island of Puerto Rico. It has been accredited as the sight for many disapearances and disturbances involving ships and airplanes on their courses through it. Often the last messages heard from the radio linking the vessel to communication with
the central base or tower is one reporting "strange lights" on the ocean water, or bubbling... then there's just static on the line and nothing more is ever heard from the ship or airplane. This has been happening for a long time.(I didn't know that about Columbus  Thanx.) Some believe that the Bermuda Triangle is the gateway to Hell, others believe that it is a hotbed for abduction by extraterrestrials. There are many other theories and no way to confirm them. One thing is for sure though this not merely a harmless geometric shape, and definitely not a top choice spot for a vacation.

Some also believe it has some sort of connection to the lost city of Atlantis. They believe that the disappearances are caused by an ancient Atlantean weapon, similar to a laser, that is still active and powered by the sun. Also, one time a scientist picked a random area in the ocean and drew a triangle there and searched the history of the area and found the same number of disappearances to the Bermuda Triangle. I've always thought Bermuda Traingle was interesting..Its one of those unexplained mysteries...I believe there is a door to another dimension. If it was anything else other than that they would have found at least some pieces of evidence from the ships and planes that vanished.. Popi1 |
