From this darkened world I live set me free
Break down the barriers which I hide behind
Tear through the dungeon where my soul is trapped
Release me from these chains that tightly bind
Dry these tears that are forever on my face
Silence the screams that echo throughout the halls
Revive my spirit that is slowly dying deep within
Mend my heart from the bleeding wounds it recalls
Please, oh please, do not run away from me
Help me escape outside of this hell where I sit
Breath life into my body that is gasping for air
Rescue me from this awful black drowning pit
Pick me up and carry me far away from here
Allow the light to enter my life and shine through
Help me to heal and cry out no more from pain
Lead me into another world; giving back my life anew
