I think it's phony. Celebrate love on another day, and it will mean more. |

I think it's what u make it!! It is very commercialised but it's really about being with the one you love. I don't like Valentine's Day cos I don't have a special person to share it with! |

I think it's way too commercial. To me, there's no need for it. Well, except for the assorted chocolates ^_^. |

I feel that like any holiday, it's all too commercial. Why not give a gift, or express yourself, without having a date on a calendar reminding you to do so? |

YAAWNNNN is my opinion, especially after 13 years of marriage!!! I can tell my husband thinks he's going to get lucky tonight though, because he's putting away the laundry (his idea of foreplay).... |

I think it is a Catholic holiday with its roots in the Lupercalia pagan feast celebrated in ancient history on February 8. Also, I read once that the Lupercalia was a feast for Nimrod who had slept with his mother. Gross!!!!! I don't keep it and as a matter of fact, my husband and I had an argument yesterday and I think it was because it was Valentine's Day, an unnatural day for us, anyway. P.S. Admin, pleasssssse, don't consider this a slam against anyone, o.k? |

I think Valentine's Day is more of a torture to those who have no one. Sure, maybe its too comercial, but its even worse for people with no one to love. ~Creator of Dreams |
