Here is some scriptures which might clear the mystery for you. Ecc.9:5,10: '' The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.'' Ps. 146:4: '' His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground, in that day his thoughts Do perish.'' Eccl.9:6: '' Their love and thier hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.'' Isa. 26:14: '' They are dead; they will not live. Impotent is death, they will not rise up.'' So who are the spirits that so many people have seen if not the dead? We get an indication, by Gods law in Israel. De. 18:10,11: It was forbidden for anyone to inquire of the dead.....'' (its a very long scripture, so you must read it for yourself,you really ought to take a moment and look that scripture up.) Its listed with witchcraft as being evil. De. 18:12. It says,these things including inquiring or speaking to the dead and spirit mediums (verse 11) Are both something detestable to God. We've already learned the dead know nothing, so who are the spirits that many times even claim to be dead people? In Genesis chapter six, verse 1,2, The bible says that the sons of God, looked at the daughters of men, and noticed them to be good looking, and took wives for themselves. In verse 4, the Nephilim are mentioned being, produced by this union of angels and human females, thier offspring were giants. And they were a big reason why God brought the flood. Their children died in the flood with thier mothers, The fathers returned to heaven, but in Jude, verse 6, It speaks of these angels, It referse to them being in darkness, but they are in bonds in the sense that they can no longer have relations with humans, they could travel back and forth from heaven to earth, but cant clothe themselves with flesh. We know this from Job 1:6,7. Where Satan tells God, that he just came from the earth. Now these are the same angels the Bible calls demons, that Jesus cast out of people. Here are a few scriptures where these demons are mentioned. mark 1:34,luke 8:30,Mat.10 In rev. the 12th chapter, verse 9, It shows that they are misleading the entire inhabited earth. They mislead by pretending to be good, or the ghost of dead loved ones. 2 Cor. 11:14. tells us that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. Going back to Rev.12:12 tell us that, their presence on earth will mean woe for the earth, because they are very angry, knowing that they have a short period of time. I would enjoy talking to you more on this subject or any other subject, giving you the Bibles view. Any communication with them is dangerous, remember they are misleaders. Books or any spiritistic or ghostly material, also sometimes it's through a gift given to you. You can begin looking for possible "invitations" amoung your belongings. Also, they will at times inhabit a place. If that's the case the place itself belongs to them (Many times because of past residence by spirit mediums or psychics or homes with a history of violent death. They love to pretend to be ghosts of murdered people) In those cases, you would have to move.

Never know. If they are changing the channel on the t.v. you could not try to see what types of shows they are wanting to watch.. hehe might give you some insite into their personality of their likes. Just some thoughts. If they are doing all the banging in the night time hours while you're sleeping..try standing in the middle of the apartment & state kind but firmly that you don't mind sharing the space but could they please not make all the banging while you are sleeping. I had to be firm with an elderly gentleman that refused to leave his/my home once.
