When I was down,
I talked to you.
And out of the blue,
I was happy again.
When I wanted to curl up and hide from the world,
I read your words,
And suddenly, everything was going my way.
You and I have had our problems,
Everyone knows that.
But it seems to me that we've moved on,
So thank you for being there.
You'll never know how much you mean to me,
And even though we're not "together",
I will always love you like we were.
When my world stopped for me,
You were the one that kept it going.
And even though I'm his now,
You are the one who has truly helped me,
In so many ways.
