Emotions are funny,they can take us so high
Then bring us back down and cause us to cry
We invest in others our emotions so true
Some treasure these feelings,these people are few
Its hard to share feelings,they come from inside
Were reluctant to show them and in who to confide
What if your lonely,do you settle for less?
Do you seek solace in darkness,or in God you confess?
It doesn't much matter in crowds or a few
We look to invest and in others feel new
It's carries inside and no one can see
We try to escape it,ourselves,we do flee
Well,I must say one thing to nourish a clue
Get out of yourself,it's a beautiful view
It's really quite easy although it seems hard
Open up to the beauty and let down your guard
When you start to do this you can open your eyes
Look all around you and shed your disguise
People will love you just as you are
You'll be surprised at the closeness,it's not very far
You know what it looks like,you can see it in them

am beginning to enjoy the feeling of being myself, although you are right it is a difficult thing to be able to do. gosh, those masks sure come in handy at times though, heehee
