Entrance into the deep, dark thoughts of the mind
At times an arena of emotions running about blind
Not truly understanDing from one moment to the next
Just a menagerie of mentation that's usually perplexed
Jumbled up within a space that is by far too confining
It desires the ability to shout out and run wildly
Reasonless thoughts locked away tightly somewhere
Begin to claw through the rational thoughts; beware
Fearful, confused, distraught and sometimes crazed
From the deepest depths of the mind can be raised
Sane, calm and collected thoughts begin to move around
Desperately seeking to maintain control over the others found
What is one's frame of mind?...The mental state you show
