Was it really a ghost or did the sun fry our brains?

6 of my friends and myself had decided to go out to this rope swing at a dangerous but popular place to swim called The Pit. Some of the stories behind this place include stories of people that were murdered and dumped in the water. We were having a great time when a man appeared out of nowhere. He was dressed in Army fatigues. Nobody had heard him which was unusual because the swing is surrounded by woods and you would've heard somebody walking. He told one of my friends that his name was Scott. He told another it was Alan, and he told yet another that it was David. He also said that he served as a Navy Seal. I've never heard of a Navy Seal with Army fatigues. Nobody payed much attention to this guy and he didn't like that. He started to yell at my friends to drop and give him 20 and stuff like that. He harrased one of my friends saying mean things to her. We decided to get out of there. We left and as we were walking through the woods, the guy followed us. We were all scared now. Just then the girl that was last in line felt him grab her shoulder. She turned around and the guy was gone. Nobody heard him leave which somebody should have cause when your in the woods you don't walk away without making some noise. We didn't know what happened and now we all think we have been visited by the spirit of a person that was killed and thrown into that watery grave.

How it changed my life:

After this happened, I became really involved in ghost seeking and looking for spirits.

Date: 2/12/2001 1:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 277    It's probably not funny to you, but the idea of a ghost military man yelling "drop and give me 20" is pretty comical to me! As for the Army fatigues, the Navy has been wearing camoflauge for quite some time now. I'm sure the Seals were wearing them long before the rest of the Navy started to. Cool story

Date: 2/13/2001 11:17:00 AM  From Authorid: 22721    That place is haunted.
Date: 2/13/2001 8:14:00 PM  From Authorid: 21923    It does sound like a haunting to me. Do you have a Navy base near by? Yes, the Navy Seals do wear fatigues at times. They were sent into the jungles during Vietnam and wore fatigue. They are a covert group and therefore must were camoflauge to be secretive. Peace -HH
