The Film "Chocolat"...By Jedi

When I saw the preview for this movie, I was a little intrested in seeing it. This is a story about a drifter who opens up a chocolate store and ends up being the talk of the town.

This isn't a movie with violence in it. In fact there's only one swear word throu out the film, if you can beleive that. Miramax prides itself in bringing the best french made films to the silver screen. I for one, am happy that they chose to distribute this film.

The story takes us on a journey, brought to life by very colorful and very animated characters. Johnny Depp character, adds a demension to the film that leaves us wondering about ourselves as human beings. This is a good Valentine's "DATE" film. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and best of all you'll leave the theatre feeling good.

I saw this at a mattinee, which was 5 dollars. Personally I wouldn't pay the 8 bucks for and evening showing, but guys...if you have a hot date, fork it out! You won't be sorry.

Did I mention it's nominated for best picture? Best actress? Best supporting Actress? Best adapted screenplay?
