God's {the real ones}purpose for your life might be quite painful. you never know. some who have wanted to do great things have done things they might not consider as great yet God may very well consider it a great thing. in other words what we think as a great thing may be despised by God. |

For me, reading His word, and believeing in Him, and knowing Him and having the ultimate faith in Him is enough for me to know that He does have a purpose in life for me. Somehow I can just feel it there. *Starless Sky*  |

WOW, very deep thought you have going tonite:-)..I like to see that:-)..Well I have thought about this same questions many times. I have had to do alot of research throughout my life to come up with that answer. I did after a long hard road..LOL..I feel that we have made many choices before we came here, with our spiritual guides to go through what it was that we needed to have that we had not experienced before, or had not completed in a previous life. Whew, I know I will here about that statement..LOL..I hope not:-(..I feel that some come here knowing they were to be in a postition of like a Doctor or a politician, or a scientist, or a house wife, or a drug addict. I know there are many lessons that we choose in each life time that we come here for. How do I know this you might be asking about now, well, it's just a matter of self knowingness. Not one that I can always explain, nor do I always know how to. I guess it woulc be like anything else that somebody may believe in that they may not have a straight answer for, but they just feel and know it inside, deep way down inside:-)..I am inspired bu GOD and love GOD very much. I have asked for visions and dreams to enlightened me to my thinking. It has happened for me. I feel so blessed for asking for this of my spirit guides and to know that I have recieved those answers I had been searching for:-). I am not sure if I have answered you to the depth of what you were looking for, But I have tried to the best of my ability:-)..I really loved this post DizzyMe:-)..Thanks for allowing me to share:-)..hugs  |

I've been told countless times that God has a purpose for everyone. That people are born for a reason. So my question is this...if we all have a purpose, what of the small babies who are killed by accident, neglect, or whatever?? Was that their purpose in life? Born to just die? I certainly hope we don't all have a purpose in life, because that would make for one mordid God. Every time a baby dies, I hear somebody say it was part of God's plan. I heard someone say it at a funeral I went to last year. What kind of God plans for a baby to die?? I certainly hope we are free willed individuals without a predetermined course in life, because otherwise my whole perception of a loving God is ruined. You may disagree with me, but this is how I see it. -Mighty Mouse-  |

Mighty mouse honey, I think our free will is to be able to choose the course in our lives. By this free will then if one only wants to come and experience a birth and then move on, would that not be free will. Also sweetie, I thought about this too. What if the family that this child was born to had all made an understanding with one another brofre hand that this is what was going to happen so a ultimate higher understanding or lesson if you will would take place, and it could not have happened without this taking place. I guess I think into things like that. Maybe this would help, or maybe not, I don't know, But I gave it a try hon:-)...hugs to you |

God has one perpous for each of us...and it is all the same...to end our journy through this world in his arms. HOw we get there is entirly up to us...however, he knows us so well before we are born he knows the path our life will take and the traps we will encounter allong the way and he does take an active hand allong our way, He gives us every oppertunity to come to him but in the end it is us who have to reach out to him to come home Peace PatrickO |

My opinion, yes. God or Godess must have a purpose for us, or they would not allow us to continue to destroy on a daily basis the earth they gave us. Whoever they may be, they are truely great. Like the parent that loves their children,and want to protect them, but must let them live the life they gave them. Hey,Just my opinion. Stonedhinge |

I believe that if we give our self to HIM and seek Him and show our willingness to do what HE asks, that then is when He lets us know what He would have us do. So far mine has been taking care of kids 12 and up, they seem to find me somehow and thats fine by me.  |
