Running through the cycles of time
Fast paced with many hills to climb
No room anywhere for hesitation to lie;
For then the world may pass you by
Leaving you in a state of confusion
A place accompanied by delusion
Erroneous ways must be distroyed;
Cautious ways will help you to avoid
Careful to keep your spirit alive and well
If not, then within you depression will dwell
Running through the cycles of time
Occurs throughout your life not just in your prime
When we are young the task is challenging
For we have the tenacity to confront what it will bring
During our prime, success in this run is in our grasp
We can take hold and keep up with the task
But once we reach the golden elder years
The cycles of time can out run us due to our fears
Often times willpower has been weakened and we give in
No strength for running through the cycles of time again.
