PEACE

We're looking for peace here on earth
But peace has eluded us since man's birth.
Maybe if we pray, it will finally come
Because of their faith, it has come to some.

We celebrate the birth of His child
It teaches us of love, a gift worthwhile.
Peace would come if we would care and give back
Instead of dwelling on hate and the things we lack.

Try and do something good each day
Be kind and gentle in the things you say.
Help someone worse off than you.
Even a smile is easy to do.

Enjoy the simple gifts we have in our life
Like love and companionship between husband and wife.
Sit in a garden or watch a bird soar
Stop and think about life and what it is for.

Reach out and give someone your love
And pray for guidance from above.
Be proud of yourself and the things you do
And the life God gave you, will be good to you.
