Pondering A Thought....by StormTracker5

Linda B., my USM mom saw this in the poetry section and thought that I should post it here as well. Thanks for the suggestion mom.

=====================================================

No more pitiful scene than that of a grown man crying His heart is heavy, often times he's left sighing Hanging his head in quiet grief For those persecuted for their belief

Some ask how this could be in this day and age You would think that time would dispel the rage Centuries go by and it remains the same Innocent one's lost in this religous "game"

Not one person stopping to ponder this thought "Is this what MY God wished to be brought?" Blood shed over so many years Mother's and Father's crying rivers of tears

We are the children of today, even of tomorrow Knowing what we know, why do we continue the sorrow? We've seen what has happened in the past How long do we let this pain last?

Perhaps we're in the same groove as the one's before Too afraid to open a brand new door...

King-Caspian, I didn't delete your comment with malice. I was trying to get the bugger to post properly. My apologies to you. StormTracker5
