The other night we stopped at a convience store and my hubby ran in for somehting. We waited in the car for him and during that time my granddaughter started looking out the window. After a few moments she said, "Nana, look at the big owl, up on that billboard sign." I looked up and there sat the biggest owl I've ever seen. We got out of the car to see it better and other people began to walk over to see what we were looking at. We had a pretty good crowd going. After a bit my hubby came back and we left talking about the beautiful owl all the way home. Next morning we were driving down that street and I looked up at the billboard where the owl had been the night before, HE WAS STILL THERE!!! We looked closer and he was made of plastic and put there to scare the pidgons away. So, stupid when I think of all the people looking at him the night before.
