"Sire, the oak holds powers that no one sees"
Nardous confessed in the night's breeze
Profelius rode to Nardous' side
"Tell me this mystery, in me you can confide"

Nardous sighed, brought in a deep breath
"Sire many have come here but each met death
The story that I have been told

Taking each life, striking out quick and clean

You can see the hate in its eyes
Sinking razor sharp teeth, bringing one's demise
Before death, there is a game to play
Three riddles to answer is all he'll say

The creature says its word is true
Get them all right, and the treasure he gives you
You cannot miss even one
If so, you'll never see another sun"

Profelius was taking in all that he was told
In his head visions of riches and gold
From his steed he dismounted with care
As he headed for the oak and the mystery there...
