I totally agree with you, it is sad that Bush found his way to the white house in the ways that he did. Not to worry, in four years we will have a real leader again, if we make it that long without him destroying this country!~Isis |

Read the book by Jim Hightower, "If the gods had meant us to vote, they would have given us candidates." This will really open your eyes to the real conspiracy, that the American Government is bought and paid for by Wall Street. Fund raising is just another form of bribery. The majority of the citizens in this country have bought into the big lie of our Corporate Government. We the people have become nothing more than corporate slaves to an elite ruling class that tantalize us with material goods and build up our hopes with unattainable dreams. They have us believing that by working the nine to five rat race we can achieve financial freedom, when the reality is ninety five percent of us will either still be working after we retire, collecting government welfare, or be dead from stress of everyday life of making ends meet. This is the future most of us get to look forward to. And running away to Canada won't do you any good. The corruption is world wide. I only see two choices, the ballot or the bullet. And both require a lot of committed people.- ENO |

Your right ENO, Canada was a joke somthing has to be done campain finance reform...perhaps a ghandi like national strike(I am not inclined to use the bullet, and India proved that freedom can be acheved through peaseful means) But we as a people must ACT! |

I am not worried about aliens!..lol.. You feel like moving to Canada, or fight? Who would you fight? I agree with you 100% that the election was stolen in Florida. Too many Bush's around, Dad probably being the biggest culprit. The courts acted untimely yes, as they so often do in the U.S. But what are you going to do about it? Bush only got 8% of the African American vote. Rest assured in the next election even more people will get out and vote, and he will be a one-termer like his father. The next election is in 1,386 days.....It should go by fast!... |

Bush is going to be a one-termer. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. And we haven't learned. Everything is in place for another Great Depression. Many laws that were put in place to prevent it have been done away with by the last three presidents and assisted by a bought off Congress. Everything runs in cycles, and Great Depressions seem to run in sixty year cycles. It has been sixty years since the last Great Depression, and this last election has put the final piece to the puzzle in place. The last time the Republicans control all three branches of the government, the Stock Market crashed and our country was plunged into a Depression that lasted a decade. This time it's a greater fall. Let's hope and pray history doesn't repeat itself this time. Gandhi toppled the British Empire peacefully, maybe it's time the meek united and do the same here. I would rather change things with the ballot, but you have to be willing to use the bullet as a last resort. There is a reason why our founding fathers made the right to bear arms the second amendment, it's there to protect our first amendment from a corrupt government. If we the people don't get out and do our civic responsiblity called voting, then the great American Experiment will fade away, and tyranny will rise up in its place.- ENO |

Bush won, without keeping the polls open for more time to vote and without millions of recounts. He may see differents on issues, but you can't say he'll have an easy time in office with the econemy as it is now. *Sugar Plum* |

I haven't believed in teh American Government in a very long time. When my highschool suspended sudents for not voting in the student election, I put my foot down and have never voted again nor will I until I find a candidate that I believe truely supports the best interests of ALL Americans; black, white, gay, straight, male and female. I knew we were doomed when Bush took over. My greatest fear is that may people will lose their basic freedoms due to his personal beliefs. Politics is nothing but a popularity contest and a war to see who gets the most money. Bush had all of the major religious denominations behind him. Of course he won...That's where all the money is. The votes were too close, all the way up to the end, to call it...and then, miraculously, it was over. I think that if you have a family member in charge of a state, that that state should be exempt from the voting...or something like that...like not allowing that family member any say...I don't know. I think Bush's baby brother had his hands in it...too convenient to "lose" that many votes. Gore exercised his rights. and Bush tried to stop him from the get go....that right there is...and with baby brother at the reigns...of course, the Bush won. "God, Please save us from the Burning Bush!" |
