Always count your blessings. I've kind of always wondered what that saying meant. Up until today, I always thought it was just an over-used expression that my family, their friends, and basically anyone over 20 used. Well, today I got the bitter taste of that saying in my mouth, and it's not fading.
Unfortunately, it took me losing one of my best friends to learn my lesson. I think the lesson I learned was worth it, though. If I count my blessings, then I'll realize that my friends are one of the many gifts God has given me. And I'll always keep them close, communicate with them when the times are goin rough, and never take them for granted by thinking that we'll never fight, stop being friends, or anything naive like that. It really is sort of naive when you think about it. Why should I deserve such good friends like that?
Ok, everyone. Here's where you step in. I don't want anyone to endure the pain I'm feeling, right now. I want you to think really hard, reach into the depths of your soul, and post (if you will) what you beleive your blessings are. If there are too many, then you can just post a few. Alright?
