Well, i have only gotten my ears pirced, i have 5 holes. One is in the cartilidge, and i was told the opposite about that! I was told that it hurt really bad, but when i got it done, it hurt as much as when i got my earlobes pierced, only diff was that it remained sore for a little longer. I am sure the pain will eventually go away, my friend got her tongue pierced and is fine, or at least she doesn't complain at all. But if it stays sore for a really long time, i'd get it checked out by a docteur. |

I'd never get it done. I had a friend who did, and she said it didn't hurt until after. She came to school and could barely talk. She said she lost weight too, because all she could eat was soup. |

When people asked me if it hurt, I said it did alittle. The first few days were definately the worse. That will pass though. I think alot of us say it doesn't hurt because it really doesn't hurt as much as we expect it to. |

Thanks to everyone for your replies. It's going on 2 weeks now, and it doesn't really hurt anymore. Except one night I was eating an orange and it got caught around the ring and I swallowed, and it felt like I swallowed the ring. That hurt. I get to change to a shorter barbell in 2 days since the swelling has gone down. Now my biggest problem I found out is that I'm not talented enuff to blow bubbles with my gum, but someone who has hers pierced said it comes with practice. --Juicy |
