Its not that you cant, its just that it could become sort of an addiction if your not careful, and that "scary" things may happen and you'll no longer need the board to communicate, but you can use it alone. Its best though to use it wityh 2 people  |

I heard that you can get pocessed <sp> if you play alone. Plus, you can get addicted to it, and bad things could start happening. Well, you can get addicted while playing with someone else, but I don't think it's a good idea to play alone. **KarmaMint**  |

If you lived in New York, would you walk in Central Park alone??? Using the Ouija board is opening up a door to another place - one that NO ONE knows a lot about.. It's safer to have someone else with you, because you don't know who's going to walk through that door, or what they'll want when they get here.. And actually??? all the studies or books I've read?? They reccomned that you have three people there: one to question, one to act as the 'base' (A grounding point for the questioner) and one to write down the questions and answers, incase there is something you don't understand.  |

It is a bit unsafe to use it alone and as holli said, it becomes and addiction. I know what you mean by not haveing anyone to play it with, my family is freaked by it and my friends think it's boring (it sometimes is).One more thing, whoever the no author Id person is who left the rude comment, you're more of an idiot than anyone else I've seen on here yet, leave us alone and go back into the rank hole you crawled out of. |
