THINK OF IT THIS WAY, MAYBE THE PERSON THAT FOUNDYOUR WALLET WAS REALLY POOR, AND WAS ABLE TO FEED AND CLOTHE HIS FAMILY. |

To author 23913 ...thanx for the suggestion, but I also come from a poor family and I needed that money to feed and clothe myself. I don't have to steal other peoples wallets though, I WORK FOR WHAT I GET..and they should be obligated to do the same. There is no excuse for this pathetic act. |

One time while I was at school,I was waiting for my ride and sitting on a brick little wall and was looking at my wallet and saw that my ride was here.I forgot to put my wallet in my purse and when I got back home,I received a call from a girl saying that she found my wallet on the brick wall.I did not even know it was missing!I felt so dumb for just leaving it there.I am glad that the girl called me and returned it to me.I do not remember if I had money in the wallet or not,but I was greatful for someone returning it.Where I work, sometimes people leave there wallets, money, keys, purse, bags and items they just bought forgetting about it.I try to catch up with them and return it,if they are already gone, then I make a note and leave it on the counter for the next person that comes in to know about. But,I would never take anything of theres. That is there belongings and I do not have the right to take any thing from another person. |

I can definately tell you I would of picked up tyour wallet , looked thru it, and returned it to you, security, or police station. I would not want what is not mine. Now if I was walking in the mall and looked down and found a $20 bill I would pick it up and look around and if no one spoke up, would keep it. If I was at some place smaller, say a work enviroment, I would ask around if anyone had lost a $20 bill. ~greyhound |
