Hi there... I read your title line and went to your stories, and I see they are almost all in the poetry section.... I'll be totally honest with you. I don't write nor read too much poetry, and usually won't unless I get to know a person a bit and want to get to know them etc...So, since I have the space for a few minutes in my life, I will read some of your stuff right now.... Hi and Happy New Year. I went and checked out three of your other stories. They are pretty good but they are poems and I very rarely read poetry. Its up to the poetry readers to leave responses. Your stuff is good though.  |

I apologize for being more attentive, but I'm afraid the holidays have kept a lot of us busy - however, I'll try to do better now that all is over and get down to reading your posts. ALot more read it then reply to it. SOmetimes they just dont have the time to reply to everything they read. I try to reply to everything I read. Another thing is get out there and READ READ and comment  It helps to get some readers, Plus try reading some of the peoples posts that reply to yours. That has helped me.  |

Don't feel bad. Some of my stuff mostly poetry only gets one response. The best I've gotten is about 9 responses, all of them were glowing but I'd been hoping for more. So your not alone, and just think that probably dozens of people or more have probably read it during the day but haven't left a response. Happy Heathen  |

Its because your posting mostly poetry. Sorry but poetry doesnt get many responses. I have 3 or 4 poems posted, with little response. Look at your other 2 post's. This one, under DISCUSSION is getting more than a few. Your other one, under humor, that doesnt even have a title got 7!...lol...So dont worry about it, or post more than just poetry....  |

Besides, some attract more readers than comments (poetry often does this), while a story (fictional or factual) or a discussion fetch a good number of comments. And do keep in mind that with all the material submitted to this site, a single post passes through the front pages fairly quickly. |

yea i kinda agree with everyone else.....a lot of people don't enjoy reading poetry and i don't know why..i enjoy reading discussions and embaressing moments and such but if the title is really catchy then i would read it  |

I don't feel that you are being singled out hon. People sometimes look up post by catagories, if your posts are in a catagory that happens to be one that is not being paid that much attention to right now, then this might result into not being so viewed. Please don't take offence to it, it all balances out.. You will find that maybe in a couple of days that your stories might be very popular..you just never know hon..I have stories that I have only recieved one reply..No biggy. I just love that fact that I even have a place to write what I feel and am interested in...Hang in there, they will get read sooner or later.dalphina:-)  |
