Spells will work for anyone but you have to really believe and do things correctly. Right down to the correct coloured candles and the cycles of the moon are very important factors. It took me a year to get a spell right hehehehe and now I am 50/50 some work and some dont. I suppose if it is the bidding of the Lord and Lady the spell will work...if not then it wont...good luck in future practices   |

Yes wicca is real, but you have the wrong idea about it and I don't think you are really suited for it. Wicca is the practice and belief in natural laws there is far more to it than just spells including years of study. I think with the way your mind is set on it spells wouldnt work for you. You should join a faith because you believe in it, not because you think 'witches' are cool or casting spells is. There is far more to it. Try looking into it first, you can do this via a library or the internet but I suggest you make sure your heart is in the right place because it dosn't seem so right now.  |

PS the reason I said spells won't work for you is because of the 3 fold rule. Without respecting and understanding what you are doing all the spells you cast will come back on you 3 times negitivily. So if you want to try casting spells then go ahead but you might risk messing up things in your life if you do. |

Some authors of Wiccan books tend to concentrate on spells, and I think that's why some teens and newcomers tend to think Wicca is centered around spells. I think a lot of this is because of the misconceptions that surround Wicca and witchcraft such as black cats, brooms and cauldrons with evil sounding ingredients (that are really just colorful sounding names for herbs). Wicca is a nature religion that focuses on the seasons, lunar cycles, and components of nature (ie. the elements, the animals, the herbs, crystals...etc.) Spells, as others here have said, are a very small part of the "religion". If you are mainly interested in the magick portion of the religion, you may want to look into ceremonial magick or other system. BTW, movies are a very bad source of information on Wicca. |

Excuse me, Jesus said "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Who are you to judge what Wicca is or is not? Lucifer has nothing to do with Wicca. Wicca is a loving religion that embraces all kinds of people and excludes no one, unlike other religions. We believe that all religions are different paths to enlightenment and each person must find his or her own way, without our judgement. |

I do not comprehend your objective, but I am assuming you wish to practice the craft. Initially, I would like to say that Wicca is a belief that some choose to follow which happens to be associated with witchery. If you desire to practice the witchcraft, then so is it, but you are not required to follow Wicca unless you choose to do so. |

Hmmm....I think that perhaps you have the wrong idea about Witchcraft and Wicca. It is more so about your inner feelings with nature and the Goddess and the God. HOnestly, I don't cast very many spells because of the three-fold law. IF I cast a spell I make darn well sure I do it right and I know what I am doing, and that it is for a good cause. Wicca is not all about casting spells! it's about atuning yourself with the world. and you have to be a wiccan to do wicca spells anyway i think. i researched it for about a year before i decided this is the path i wanted to go on. i suggest you research it first. p.s. if all you wanna do is spells, than i don't think you should choose this path  |
