Resellers: Good or Harmful
Yes I know it's a lot of people's rights to buy something and resell something just to make money for themselves. But as I've come to find out lots of them to me don't really seem to care if they are buying up alot which was meant for those who don't have much only to up the price way beyond the original .
For example there's a yearly used booksale which I find much welcoming reading material seeing how a lot of it now has either be over $10 or even $16 bucks at both Barnes and Noble and Books A Million respectively and though I love and admire both establishements and what they sell a lot of times I really can't afford the newest arrivals .
For this reason I always find myself walking to the sell section which I admit has a lot of good choices and I'm greatful for them when they do that type of thing. Anyway I was at this yrs booksale and it was extremely crowded not giving everyone a lot of time to even read the back or summary of what they are picking up but there was plenty and I thankfully did find some books most I didn't end up liking and donating to my nearest Little Free Library but what's more important is there were people coming in with boxes on racks and carriers and those who were resellers weren't even trying to read the summary of each book they picked up but rather taking almost every little thing they could grab and piling it in droves and high stacks. Now my first thought they too were finding something to read or even add to their collections but when I found out they were resellers it upset me greately in fact I even mentioned to the owners and runners of this event and she just said " Of Course they are resellers" like she knew and was only happy to get the money for donations which I know have gone to charities. But it's the fact that they were walking out with piles and piles and I'm figuring just to up the price a little before they resell.
While the rest of us were just there to see what they had and wanted something more in our collections. Now I might be overreacting and you can comment and give me your opinions on this matter but it just bugged me so much.
