ITEMS RECOVERED :

On the week-end of May 15th & 16th of 2004 Mja recovered Items that we felt was related to Miss Maitland...

The items recovered was female underwear that was the size & style Miss Maitland wore..

They were not meant to be found for they were buried in high grass & small tree limb cuttings covering them..

You could tell that the underwear wasn't in the elements that long..

The other Items in a different location was a pair of Flex-Cuffs that had been cut off with an 18 inch hair in the locking teeth...

A syringe / Blue in Color

This was all turned over to the Vermont State Police which they signed for to protect the chain of evidence...

Fast forward / In September 2004 the VSP turns over Miss Maitland Car to the Parents ..

In October 2004 Mja processed Miss Maitland's Car..

Items of interest : A Blue Syringe Cap found in the car seat track that adjusts the seat ..

Under the Drivers Armrest was 3 spots of blood that could only be seen with an alternate light source..

Under Drivers seat but in sight were 3 green fibers that were not from Miss Maitland surroundings..

Not from her Parents home / Not from Her Apartment she shared with a Friend & not from her work place...

This was also turned over to the VSP which they also signed for to protect any evidence...

Back passenger door inside a shoe print but couldn't get a lift of the print...

What Mja saw points that there was a struggle inside the vehicle...

This would explain a lot of things considering what was found outside of the vehicle & just the over all view of the scene...

To our knowledge Mja doesn't know if any of these Items were tested by the VSP...

The Suspects :

Early on everyone thought it was 3 NY Drug Dealers that abducted Miss Maitland...

In one week-end Mja learned these Dealers didn't deal from their home ..

On Saturday & Sunday they would meet buyers in the area at little town & city parks & parking lots ..

Mja learned the locations & times & we would show up holding old Police Radio's telling them to move on..

There was a couple of times we had the Border Patrol do a Drive-Bye / that put some fear into them..

Needless to say we shut down their Drug Operation in 4 months in the area to where they moved on ..

It was during this time Mja realized that these NY Drug Dealers were not involved with Miss Maitland's abduction...

After all they couldn't keep their Drug Operation quiet from us 2 days into the Investigation so how would they keep an Abduction quiet. ??

Just think about it !!

Wouldn't you think if they were going to go after someone it would be Us for shutting their Business down in the area ..

They were wanna b's Dealers in an isolated area..
