Hello everyone! I hope very strongly that everyone that reads this is healthy, happy, and doing well! <3 <3
I myself am doing all right, all things considered. My year has not been very eventful so far, with exception of the fact that my mom passed on Feb 28. It's a long story behind it; basically it was unexpected yet expected at the same time. She'd been bedridden since a surgery in August that had major complications, which I believe was due to her being in her 70s and already in poor health before the (major) surgery. She already had congestive heart failure, and other lung problems, and I am pretty sure that's what took her out. I will spare any further details at the risk of being too verbose, but suffice to say, it's weird knowing she's not there anymore and never will be. She and I were never close, so the loss is not huge, mean as that may sound. But I still loved her to a certain extent and her me. It's just so surreal to say that she passed. anyway.....
Later this week, I will turn 51! :) another trip around the sun. My adult life has flown. It is daunting to watch how fast time just disappears into the ether.

OH , PS: i thought of something else! :-D I will be getting tested for autism/Asperger's sometime in the next few months! I am excited about it but yet daunted, because a diagnosis will mean several things, both good AND bad! I will update you all when I get the results!
