Old age?! If you're old, then I'm in trouble. I suppose it depends on your budget. But, it sounds like your current computer is very slow. I'm not sure of the age of your computer, but if you can't do anything other than YouTube, then it's likely not going to last much longer. Perhaps it can be fixed? A computer doesn't have to be expensive, depending on your needs. You could probably find a used $200 desktop that runs fine. In terms of your bicycle, I know shops around here will sell e-bikes fully assembled. Perhaps it is similar in your area. |

Sarah D. I'd go for the bike. We can always find some sedentary thing to do. Fresh air and sunshine; we need it. I bet that you can put the bicycle together, yourself. Just take your time and consult "the encyclopedia of You-tube." Take care of you and write on..... |

I don't know much about e- bikes but as far as computers go I've had a couple of IPads that I really liked. Plus their portable when you travel and the base model generation 10 is just under $300 these days...... |

Sarah D. After re-reading your post and my comment to it, I would like to comment, again. I think that you should not worry about an buying an "e-bike." ( I just thought e-bike was some fancy trade name, not a motor driven bicycle.) there may indeed come a time when you need such a thing, I doubt that you really "need" one, now.
If you bought a "regular" bicycle, it would, undoubtedly, cost less. With the money saved, you could get yourself some sort of new computer. You could still get your quota of fresh air, exercise, and sunshine and have a computer, too. Anyway, hope it all works out. Write on.... |
