Good evening USM Angels,
I do hope that my posting finds All doing well on this New Year’s Eve
We are getting bombarded with all manner of weather this evening——all day actually….. In some areas of our Beautiful Bluegrass State, there has been hail golf ball-sized, other areas, high winds and torrential rain.
Goodness, it seems December and 2024 is going out like a Lion!!
There is a large tree across my driveway that will need to be cut, removed out of the drive in the next day or so…..
Although, I believe I can still get out, I think I might still have a lil’ of the Duke Boys in me!;) haha!
Either way, I’ll give either the Sheriff’s Office or FD a call when these high winds subside…… I’m thinking there is a bitterly cold front moving into the state by this upcoming weekend… going to get prepared in the event we do have the front move in, bringing with it, ice and snow….
With this unpredictable weather, I decided to stay at home in my pj’s with my fur babies and enjoy the warmth of my mountain cabin home,
a few movies, watching the Ball drop at midnight…

Happy New Year, sister! We're getting some of that cold, down here on the pond, also. Today's high temp was 76 F and the overnight low is calling for 32 F. Stay warm and write on.....
