The Grace of Night by Haiku-bless-you
When I think about things 'lunar', My heart beats it's tempo sooner, And my muse becomes a crooner, Giddy as a honeymooner.
Moonbeams cast their potent spell, I'm captive in their hypnotic attraction. My eyes bathe in its healing glow, Releasing the daylight's mayhem.
in the somber night owl and moon discover prey escape is futile
I surrender to the Grace of night, Knowing therein awaits delight.
*note: This was written for a prompt that asked for a poem to be written on a single theme, with four stanzas, each stanza utilizing a different poetic form.
